This is a nascent service. So we ask forgiveness. We are trying to work it out. Not for anything but the betterment of our community. This is the area where we update and provide transparency on testuber so that users can critique and provide feedback to us. As a servicethat provides feedback, its fair to say we live on feedback. If you want to become part of what we do here, reach out.

Detailed transparency on critiera
Currently we have 8 criteria. Each criteria has 3 sub criteria. We will be changing the sub criteria from time-to-time based on user feedback. It is critical that the criteria be as objective as possible, while ensuring that creative direction and freedom is not stifled. Getting the balance is difficult, but where we are unsure we always lean more to encouragement and support.

Assssors, what are their backgrounds?
The original intention was to allow peer review. The developers still believe that this is where we need to be. However at this time as the site is in beta, the reviews are completed by volunteers. Today each volunteer has varying levels of content production experience which can increase the level of subjectivity in assessment. We are looking for more volunteers to assist sharpen the quality of the feedback, some who have exceeded the minimum requirements for monetising. Testuber takes the time to meet regularly with assessors and cross-assess reviews and discuss why differences exist if significant.

What can you do if you're not happy with the review?
We would like to think we get it right everytime. Our protocol is if unsure, encourage and support than criticize. Testuber is for building, supporting and encouraging content creators on their path. We know this and understand the impact that feedback can have on individuals. So we are very consious out this and want to hear every concern or that an individual has. For feedback to be meaningful it must be objective, and while this in itself is a challenge, this is always the intention. However, where a content creator believes that firmly that their assessment is incorrect, we will always seek to understand, then always take the side of the content creator.

It's been 24 hours and I still havent recieved my review.
As we are volunteers and the service is nascent, yes this can happen. We are notified when a video is submitted and therefore can assure you that it is logged. Sometimes the flow of submissions is great, other times the availability of volunteers is less, so we appreciate your patience. As we build the service, get more resources and automate, we believe waiting anymore than 24 hours for a review is too long.

Should I submit the same video twice?
Testuber is a free service. If the video has been adjusted by the creator it should be resubmitted. We hope that a future time our platform will have a history of videos submitted so that users can track their progress. The programming and platform requirements for this are substantially more that we have resourced today, but we know this is important for the user.
